top3 by Design is a Melbourne-based showroom of over 200 great brands including Alessi, Missoni Home, Normann Copenhagen and emerging local Australian brands such as Fink, Basil Bangs, Ninnho Orbitkey, Slip and Page Thirty-Three.

The recent launch of the top3 by Design Melbourne flagship showroom in Richmond is the biggest and most impressive of the now four top3 by Design stores. Australian entrepreneur, Terri Winter, is the artistic eye and passion driving top3 by Design to unearth design inspiration and innovation. A wife, mother and graphic designer, Terri is a sought-after leader and mentor in the design community. So you can be assured of finding a well-edited emporium of  quality furniture and homewares for your home.

Since 2001 top3 by Design has fostered design, not stolen it, to ensure the brand has grown as purveyors of authentic design with parameters of innovation, style and quality. Terri says top3 by Design has sought to take the snobbery out of design even though they stock some of the finest and most respected brands in the world.

“It’s about editing options not limited choices,” she says. “We stock up to three products per category and that’s not by brand or price alone; it’s by the merit of design and quality, and authenticity”

The new top3 By Design showroom has been set up to maximise integration with the products. As all top3 by Design staff are passionate about design, they love discussing the products and their merits with visitors seeking solutions for their home. Terri Winter oversaw the design and fit-out of the new space, which is very contemporary. Mondrian inspired white cabinetry, steel tubs and linear steel shelves allow visitors to see larger design pieces, the showcase furniture and small collectables in a ‘living context’.
