I am an unashamed shoe-a-holic! Because I tend to wear block colours and fairly tailored clothes, I make statements with shoes and necklaces; it’s my ‘thang’. And one of my favourite Australian shoe collections is Mode Collective. So I was very excited to see their new AW15 collection continuing the brand’s ethos of classic, cool and very very chic.

You’ll find very wearable heels and flats that are contemporary and timeless, and most designs come in a few different colourways or leathers. For example, original leather, ponyskin or python print. Along with Mode Collective’s signature lace up booties, square toe ankle sandals and point loafers, the new collection includes lace up points, diagonal strap pumps and ankle boots. The rich palette consists of wine, mahogany and khaki in an unexpected mix of suedes, semi-patent and exotic leathers, which perfectly encapsulates the Mode Collective woman’s easy, nonchalant personality.

Ankle boots that look chic with winter skinnies look equally at home with a sleeveless vest dress. And ankle-strap stilettos will work with jeans or tailored pants.

The Mode Collective is about adding a refined edge to any outfit. The perfect combination of directional styles, classic silhouettes and unparalleled quality ensure The Mode Collective is an essential part of every fashionable wardrobe.

If you love shoes as much as I do, then you WILL find many styles to suit you and your wardrobe in this new collection. Please visit The Mode Collective for stockist details. Thanks to Stylist: Carmen Hamilton. Photographer: Tim Ashton. Model: Roberta @ CHIC
