When was the last time you went out on a girl’s night out? Nothing is more fun than getting the girls together on a Saturday night, and going on a night on the town. Here are a few ways you can make sure you all look your best, and make it a night to remember.

Choose What To Wear

One of the most important decisions when you’re arranging a night out, deciding what to wear! You’ll want something that flatters you and makes you feel comfortable and confident. If you’re going out in a group, it’s worth checking that no one else will be wearing the same thing. You could go with a trusty favourite item, go on a shopping trip or raid your friends wardrobes to see if they have something good for your to borrow.

Decide on Hair and Makeup

With your hair and makeup looking  great, you’ll be feeling your absolute best during the night and will give you no end of confidence. If you have a friend in the group that’s particularly good at this stuff then you could start early and have them help you. Alternatively you could follow along to Youtube tutorials or even hire Mobile hairdressers and makeup artists. Especially worthwhile if it’s a special night out, or if you don’t get to do it all that often.

Choose Shoes You Can Dance In

The highest heels you can walk in might look amazing, but if they’re going to kill your feet and ruin your night out then it’s so worth making a different choice. Go with a heel you can comfortably walk and dance in for at least a couple of hours. Something you won’t be twisting your ankles in after a few drinks on slippy nightclub floors. Lets face it, having to take your shoes off on a night out is never a good look, so you might as well choose something more suitable in the first place.

Bring an ‘Emergency Kit’ in Your Handbag

An emergency kit could be things like a pack of tissues (lets face it, the ladies loos will be all out by 10pm), a mirror, some trusty makeup essentials to top up with during the night and a portable phone charger. It doesn’t hurt to have some extra taxi fare stashed away in here too, even if you have plans on going home together. If you get lost from the group or want to leave early you’re not having to rely on other people or potentially end up stranded.

Take Plenty of Photos

Make sure you get plenty of pictures when you’re ready to go- you might not look quite as sharp after a few cocktails! Make sure your camera is fully charged and there’s space on the memory card, it saves you from using your phone (which doesn’t take great pictures in low light anyway) and killing the battery. It will take up additional space in your clutch bag, but it’s worth it to have photos of the night.
