Fashion Week Street Style… bring it on! New York, London, Paris, Milan…when Fashion Weeks start, is it an invitation to get your fashion freak on? Fashionistas around the globe say ‘yes’, providing to us a glamorous and creative glimpse into their fashion thoughts..and wardrobes.
Have you actually noticed how seemingly everyday people dress for Fashion Week? Which is why I ADORE Fashion Week Street Style because it takes us off the runway and into the street – and man, there are some awesomely stylish people out there.
So what has already been on the streets for Fashion Weeks in 2015?
Let’s take a global cruise around the streets from our lounge room chairs. Please fasten your seat belts…and if an oxygen mask should fall in your lap….BREATHE DEEPLY!
First stop, LONDON – home of fish ‘n chips, football and Jason Statham – YUM!!!
Did you enjoy that?
Next stop, ooh la la tres bien, we will be stopping in PARIS for re-fuelling. Grab a baguette and a pair of ballet flats for a whirlwind sightseeing trip.
So chic, so French. How does French fashion stack up against the style icons of the world, the Italians? MILANO…who can resist a stylish Italian. Not me. Home of Gucci, Versace, Ferrari, Prada…you might need a lie down after Fashion Week Street Style in this town, because tonight we land in Milan and have a longer stopover.
The Big Apple! The City that Never Sleeps! Whenever I think of New York City I think of pastrami-on-rye and Woody Allen (not necessarily in the same thought). From one of the most amazing and vibrant cities in the world, even landing o the tarmac is a thrill. The dynamism is palpable. So what about Fashion Week Street Style? Grab your sneakers and a cross-body bag and let’s take a bite out of the big apple together!
So much inspiration, don’t you think? What are your favourite looks? Will you draw some ‘fash inspo’ from some of these looks?
It seems casual chic is alive and well in Fashion Week Street Style, and they are my favourite looks. If you’d like to share YOUR Street Style with my audience, then please contact me via Street Style here on Don’t Call me Penny. I’d love to see YOUR real street style.
