Evox Hair Rejuvenation Therapy is totally new and very different so I was intrigued – anything that involves hair and cryogenic chambers is intriguing – but also my usual skeptical self.
Why am I so skeptical? Well, I have fine hair that needs lots of moisture. I have a lot of hair but it’s fine, coloured and prone to dryness and frizz. I am constantly using new products and my fave for quite a while has been Paul MItchell – in fact, I wrote about it here on Don’t Call Me Penny; best moisturising hair care products ever.
So I took myself down to Kinky Curly Straight and met Tracey Bazzano Lauretta from EVY Professional and Aquabaci. As a former hairdresser and salon owner, Tracey now provides amazing services to salons across the country from her base in Melbourne. And she has introduced the Evox Hair Rejuvenation Therapy in to Australia.

Evox Hair Rejuvenation Therapy by Evolution Proof uses a molecular system to deliver micro-molecules directly into the hair shaft. It deposits essential proteins into the hair AND delivers biologically active molecules to revitalize, reconstruct and reinforce the natural structure of your hair.
The process is quite a ritual with ampules of micro-molecular dormant cells placed in a cryogenic chamber and then heat activated – all in front of you at the salon. The activated cells are mixed with water and then ‘painted’ on to each hair shaft with a brush, then heat activated again.
After about one and a half hours of this very easy process, hair is washed, spritzed with protein coating spray and blow dried. I was amazed at the results but, ever the skeptic, know my hair always looks ravishingly good after leaving the salon.
When I saw the ‘before and afters’ I was shocked at how dry my hair had looked walking into the salon – even after I had carefully blow-dried it that morning. My post Evox hair rejuvenation therapy locks were silky smooth, my hair moved beautifully and there was no sign of frizz or fly-a-way. So far so good.
But how would my hair look in the days and weeks after the treatment? I left Kinky Curly Straight with the Evox Liquid Plasma Anti-Ageing Shampoo and Conditioner, plus the Protein Coating Spray.
It’s now three weeks since I had the Evox hair rejuvenation therapy and I have used the hair care products every day. My hair is STILL silky, no flyaway, it blow dries better, stays in shape better, moves better, and looks better than it ever has three weeks after a salon treatment. I am AMAZED. In fact, I am full blown GOB SMACKED.
You only need a TINY amount of product – even the conditioner – just a teaspoon, and usually my hair SOAKS up conditioner. I always use more conditioner than shampoo, ALWAYS. Not now – a tiny and equal measure of each in the shower and then a small spritz of the protein coating spray before I blow dry.
This is my absolute honest opinion – as are all my opinions on this website. It’s not a cheap treatment and does come with the hair care products, but WOW what a difference. Check out EVOX on Facebook, EVY Professional and AquaBaci.
