Hands up, who loves lingerie? Yup, just what I thought…a sea of hands. Lingerie is as much a fashion item as a pair of shoes, great handbag or new season leather pants. We all have lingerie in our wardrobes…or dresser drawer…and sometimes it’s for show and sometimes it’s for more intimate occasions. However the choice is entirely yours.
SJ Lingerie is one of my favourite Australian lingerie brands. Since it’s relaunch in June 2014, SJ Lingerie has gone from strength to strength. Creative Director and lingerie connoisseur, Katie Rackley, says “SJ Lingerie is for the woman who is beautiful but strong, appreciates luxury, yet is a little left of field.” Well OK then. Two capsule collections from SJ Lingerie, Bang Bang and Coerulea, are the first Katie oversaw from beginning to end since the 2014 relaunch. SJ Lingerie uses the finest European laces making a luxurious second skin. The designs are just beautiful. Sexy, yes…but more than that, they embrace the female form…and who doesn’t like luxury fabrics next to their skin?
The delicate teal lace below is from a small lace mill in Calais, Northern France. The sheer triangle bralette and matching briefs have a deep blue velvet trim and, along with a silk night dress, are limited edition.
The collections include bodysuits, sheer dresses and intimate separates. The light-as-air chiffon and intricate lace are provocatively beautiful blurring the lines between underwear and outerwear. That’s where personal choice comes in. See SJ Lingerie for details on this and other collections.
For more luscious lingerie see our feature on Passionata. And you might like new season leather & knitwear from Blesse’d Are The Meek, the stunning new collection for curves from Harlow, and the divine Trelise Cooper.
Are you a lover of lingerie? Do you have a favourite look from the SJ Lingerie collections? What is your fave piece of lingerie? Would you wear you inner wear as outerwear? Come on, share 🙂
