The divine Dame Trelise Cooper is not only a Kiwi (as am I) she is one of my all-time favourite fashion designers. I have showcased her different collections over the years and each one just pushes the creative envelope. Whether it’s Boardroom, Boho, Casual or Uncategorised, there will be something to inspire everyone. So when I received images from the photo shoot of her latest new black fashion collection I went into my usual meltdown of how AMAZING Trelise Cooper is.

This latest collection is from the Cooper range and features clothes you can just hang out in and make them your own; with great style. Losing fitting, great with jeans, stripes, roses, mix ‘n match. T-shirts, overcoats, boyfriend jeans, dresses and statement T’s. You will love this new range for lounging, hanging out, market shopping, curling up on the couch, going to the movies, visiting a winery; just about anything that requires a stylish but casual approach. Can you tell I am LOVING it??

Then change the top from varsity sweat to sweet black roses. The silhouette is unstructured but with a casual nod to bodycon. It’s not about being a girlie-girl but a girl with attitude who knows what she wants, but actually doesn’t care about having it right now. She’s confident of getting it so doesn’t stress about the time frame. This new black fashion is for the individual, the rebel.

A dress becomes a coat or a top becomes a mini. Make a statement with text fabrics  and show your new black fashion who’s boss. Add an animal print – literally,  a print of an animal head – and stripes to suit.
